The Board approved 7 investment projects to the amount of 93 mln. USD. The biggest project is "The reconstruction of the power-generating unit of the station #4" at the Starobeshevskaya Heat Power Station JSC "Donbassenergo" (Starobeshevskiy District) to the sum of 74.65 mln. USD. The realisation of this project will allow creating 70 new workplaces with the average wages of 906 UAH a month. The period of recoupment of the project is 4.3 years.

The project "The implementation of the new technological processes in steelmaking, foundry thermal and assembly production" was approved for Novokramatorskiy Mechanical Engineering Plant (Kramatorsk) to the sum of 9.3 mln. USD. The project will bring about to enterprise and that will allow to create 3 workplaces and to save 1290 existing ones and to save the average wages of 2855 UAH a month. The obtaining of the first profit is planned to for the first quarter 2004 with the projected capacity of output production to the amount of 381 mln. USD a year.

The project "The organisation of production of coal concentrate" to the sum of 3.33 mln USD was approved for implementation in Selidovo by "Polus and Co. Ltd.". There will be created 343 and saved 357 workplaces with average wages of 644 UAH.

Four projects which help to create 201 workplaces and to save 894 ones were approved for the following territories of Prior Development:

• The project "The modernisation of output of gas-stoves" will be implemented in Druzhkovka by JSC "Druzhkovskij Plant of gas gear" to the amount of 1.94 mln USD.
• The project "The organisation of output of bakery products" will be implemented in Dobropolye by "Dobropol'skiy industrial complex of bakery products Ltd." to the sum of 1.6 mln. USD.
• The project "The preparation and labour-rent of the sources of the 7th North longwall and the 8th South longwall of the inclination 1 of the coalbank k5" will be implemented in Krasnoarmeisk by the SE "Rodninskaya Mine" IU "Krasnoarmeiskugol" to the sum of 1.11 mln. USD.
• "Prommonolit Ltd." will implement the project "The organisation of the complex working-up of the timber" in Kramatorsk to the amount of 1.05 mln USD.

The increasing of the investment to the sum total of 9.63 mln. USD was approved according to the functioning projects of "Victoria Ltd" and JSCC "British-Ukrainian Enterprise "Sarepta-Mediplast" in Donetsk.
