At the regular session of the Board of the special economic zones and special mode of investment activity in Donetsk region there have been approved for implementation four investment projects: JSC the Coal company "Shakhta "Krasnoarmeyskaya - Zapadnaya #1" - the cost of the project is 13,8 mln USD.; LLP "Lama" - 1,5 mln. USD; JSC "Rutchenkovskiy zavod "Gormash" - 1,2 mln. USD; LLP "Zolotoy kolodets" - 1,1 mln. USD.

The councillors on SEZ matters cancelled licences giving the right to the branch establishment of the corporation "Globeks Inc." and LLP "Uniliver Foods" to work in the conditions of the special mode of investment activity.

To present day the Board of the special economic zones and special mode of investment activity in Donetsk region has approved 150 investment projects on a total sum of 1112,7 mln. USD.

The main part of the projects - 79 to the sum of 721,3 mln. are directed for implementation to the key industries, including metallurgy - 14 (208,2 mln. USD), coal industry - 19 (204,6 mln. USD), chemical industry - 22 (162,3 mln. USD), oil refining industry - 1 (63,9 mln. USD), engineering - 17 (72 mln.)USD, construction industry - 6 projects ($10,3 mln.). In light and food-processing industries - 41 projects to the sum of 142 mln USD; in agriculture - 10 projects to the sum of 22,5 mln. USD, in transport and communication - 15 on sum of 185,8 mln. USD in a municipal services - 5 to the sum of $40,2 mln., in health protection and public assistance - 1 project to the sum of $1,2 mln.

Among these approved projects - 65 with share of foreign investors from more than 20 countries of the world, their capital is 289,4 mln. USD. Considerable funds are invested in the economy of the region by the companies from Great Britain - to the sum of 80,7 mln. USD, the United States of America - to the sum of 56,1, Germany - $9,8, Switzerland - $20,1, Austria - $30,1, Sweden - $18,6 mln., and also from Israel, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Estonia. At the present time the implementation of 115 investment projects in 89enterprises, including 2 projects in SEZ "Donetsk" and 2 projects in SEZ "Azov" has already started.

In fact, 9,6 thous. jobs are created and 23,2 thous. jobs are saved (as a whole all projects provide the creation of 17,7 thous. new and saving 35,9 thous. available jobs). The average monthly salary in a new created job 1,6 times exceeds the region's average level and amounts to 603 GRN.

An average cost of a new job creation from the beginning of the implementation of the projects is 50,3 thous. USD.

Under 85 investment projects the production output has started. The total volume of production from the moment of putting into operation of new powers has amounted 6,3 bln. GRN. Goods and services were realised to the sum of 6,2 bln. GRN., including export - 1,8 bln. GRN., or 29 %.

The growth of the industrial productionin the region, almost on 80% is provided due to the production output in within the framework of the Law of SEZ.
