The next stage of the international forum "Ukraine and European Union: to 21 century together" was held 5.11. - 8.11.2000 in Vienna, in the headquarters of UNIDO. The vice-chairman of regional state administration - A.Kluev and the Chairman of Board on SEZ of the Donetsk region - V.Pismak gave reports which indicated the conceptual approaches used in the organization of SEZ work.The investment policy being carried out today in the Donetsk region aroused the interest of the potential investors.

First of all these are firms investing funds in metallurgical industry, mineral recourses mining, construction material manufacturing. There have been conducted a number of meetings with the businessmen which are interested in the development in the region such branches as hotel industry, setting up joint venture in radio electronics sphere.
