The regular session of the Board of Special Economic Zones and Special Mode of Investment Activity in Donetsk region took place 29.06.2000. At the session there have been considered the new investment projects to the sum of 11.9 mln. USD. They are:

Open Joint-Stock Company "UkrNTEK" - "Building and establishment of domestic solid wastes recovery complex". The total project cost - 2.9 mln.USD. Investor - budgetary appropriations of the town Kirovskoye. The asserts are intended for purchase and installation of the appropriate equipment, building of wastes recovery complex. Payback period-11 years.

Limited Liability Company "Foreign trade firm "AZOTsM" - "Modernization of technological equipment designed for rolled non-ferrous metals output". The project offers to update the equipment for rolled non-ferrous metals output in Artemovsk processing plant of non-ferrous metals. The total sum of the investments - 2.2 mind. USD. Payback period - 4.8 years.

Limited Liability Company "SK Terminal" - International carriage service in transportation of goods. The project is aimed at the purchase of trucks and semitrailers. The total Project cost - 1.5 mln. USD. Payback period - 5.2 years.

Limited Liability Company "Bars" - "Offering freight services by means of auto transport". The aim of the Project - to render full-range services in international auto transportation. The sum of the investments - 1.1 mln. USD. Payback period - 3 years.

Limited Liability Company "Termoplast" - "Creation of styrene and polystyrene tapes manufacture" . According to the project , modern packing production is to be organized. The total Project cost - 1 mln. USD. Payback period - 0.9 years.

Limited Liability Company "Bazalt Ukraine" - "Manufacture of highly effective castables and concretes". The total Project cost - 1.2 mln. USD. It is planned to forward investments to the equipment delivery and to the constructive-installation works. Payback period - 3.3 years.

Limited Liability Company "Sintez" - "Organization of complex mineral fertilizers production". It is planned to organize production of mineral fertilizers in Amvrosievka. The total Project cost - 1.2 mln. USD. The asserts are planned to be used for equipment purchase. Payback period - 5.8 years.

Closed Joint-Stock Company "Cemindustria" - "Cement manufacture". The Project envisages organization of white decorative cement production in Enakievo. The sum of the investments - 1 mln. USD. Payment period - 3 years.

Besides domestic businessmen, the firms from such countries as Lebanon, Austria, Sweden, Germany, Cyprus became investors of the projects. It is necessary to note, that implementation of these projects will allow to create 394 new jobs.

In total, the Board of SEZ has approved 92 projects with the total sum of 676.2 mln. USD. All that will give an opportunity to create 9.2 thousand of new jobs and retain 20 thousand of currents ones.
