  • Kurachovskaya thermal power station, full capacity - 1460 MWt. Now development of an electrical power compounds more than 4 B. Kw/hour;
  • Kurachovskaya mechanical factory, project annual vigor of a factory: metallic structures 26 thousand tons, iron founding 1.200 thousand tons welding rods 2,3 thousand tons, boiler heating 1500 pieces.

There are 116.8 thousand ha of land suitable for agricultural production: 103.7 thousand ha of arable land and 14.1 thousand ha in reserves. Main agricultural products are - milk, vegetables, grain, meat, eggs, and sunflower seeds. Mariinka District has many agricultural companies looking for joint venture partners.
